3C Tuesday

We would appreciate it if your child can come to school in their PE kit- they will not need to bring their uniform to change into.

PE kit is black/ navy shorts / leggings / joggers, a plain white t-shirt and trainers.

Outdoor Learning 

This year, all Year 3 children will be taking part in Outdoor Learning. 

3C will be taking part in these sessions this Autumn half term.  The children will need to come to school every Wednesday in clothes suitable for Forest school and suitable trainers / wellies. 

Homework

We would like the children to read their banded reading book at least three times a week. They can change their reading book whenever they are ready for a new one. Every Friday we ask the children to hand in their reading record books. Reading for pleasure and enjoyment is something that we will continue to encourage; any reading completed can be written in their reading record book. 

In Year 3 we focus on the 3, 4 and 8 times tables. We also recap and practise the 2, 5 and 10 times tables.
